flowers on a busy day
I'm swamped but took a smidge of time to pick some flowers from my yard for my workbench today.
A sea of yellow flowers wins me over every time.
And love these odd purple flowers that cropped up as a wonderful surprise in the backyard. They were being swarmed by attentive bees while I was out. Charming little bees with different shapes and colours. Many had huge pink globules on their hind legs and these all seemed a little clumsy. Something to do with mating I assume?

The pink globules are most likely pollen to make "bee bread" for the little ones. The boys usually stay at home lazing about all year. hrmph.
