Now Casting for "Project Accessory"

Now Casting for "Project Accessory"- and by "Project Accessory" they mean Project Runway- for accessories. Wow right?

From the site-
If you design jewelry, handbags, shoes or other fashion accessories, we will be holding open calls in June 2011 in the following cities: New York, Miami, Chicago and Los Angeles.

New York City
June 18 & 19

June 21

June 23

Los Angeles
June 25 & 26

For the open call, please bring the following:

- Close-up picture and full body picture (These will NOT be returned!)
- Three to five examples of CURRENT work. Work should have been done in the last six months to a year. Your pieces should not be work designed under someone else’s umbrella but your OWN work. Your work should showcase your individual point of view, your aesthetic! (We will not keep your pieces.)
- Bring portfolios. They should highlight the breadth and scope of your work! Press kits and magazine spreads are OK, but actual portfolios showcasing your current work and work done in the past will help our judges determine your range as a designer.

Ring a Day- a walk through the gallery

The Ring a Day exhibition- a walk through the gallery. From the sign outside, to the photos, to the layout. I love the sounds of people talking about the rings in the background.

More in depth videos of each case on Flickr- Videos 1-7 are up on Flickr. Cases 8-10 soon to come!
